I came across this design of a paper clip lamp by Ben Colette and David Wykes. I really like how you can move the part this bulb is attached and i think the way they've mirrored the function of the clip to attach it to a table is really clever. It really hails the gem clip as an item of beaut and elegance.
I also found this design for a chair inspired by a paperclip by Chris Kujawski, I can see how he has got to this design but i dont think its nearly as effective as the lamp design.
